This call aims is to facilitate the transition toward a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy, a toxic-free environment and at protecting, restoring and improving the quality of the environment.
Objectives
The aim is to facilitate the transition toward a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy, a toxic-free environment and at protecting, restoring and improving the quality of the environment in line with the European Green Deal and recent policy developments.
The specific objective is to cover one or more of the following topics:
· Circular Economy and Waste
· Recovery of Resources from Waste
· Circular Economy and the Environment
· Zero pollution and sustainable management of natural resources

Activities that can be funded
· Develop, demonstrate and promote innovative techniques, methods and approaches.
· Contribute to the knowledge base and to the application of best practice.
· Support the development, implementation, monitoring and enforcement of the EU legislation and policy, including by improving governance at all levels, in particular through enhancing capacities of public and private actors and the involvement of civil society.
· Catalyse the large-scale deployment of successful technical and policy related solutions for implementing the EU legislation and policy by replicating results, integrating related objectives into other policies and into public and private sector practices, mobilising investment and improving access to finance

Eligibility
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
+ be legal entities (public or private bodies)
+ be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
+ the coordinator must be established in an eligible country

Project duration: between 24 and 120 months indicatively.
Budget
The estimated available call budget is EUR 77 000 000.
Maximum 60% funding rate.
