EU Funding Goals

We would like to start preparing for an EU fund application by following the below timeline:

  • in two years we would like to have a great network of potential collaborators identified and a clear picture of  an application proposal finalised.
  • in five years we would like to be in a position to apply for an EU grant.

Strenghts

WoI have an excellent network of experts in the area. The amount of knowledge that can be funneled through and by WoI is extensive.

WoI coordinate extensive training for foresters and ecologists while also facilitating Technical Advisory Panels to discus solutions to current issues facing native woodlands in Ireland.
