The Rediscovery Centre is Ireland’s national centre for the circular economy, an award winning social enterprise and Europe’s first circular 3D textbook demonstration centre. Established 20 years ago, our mission is to lead Ireland’s transition to a circular economy and a sustainable future by creating a fair and inclusive society that thrives within the boundaries of our natural resources.

WISER LIFE

Led by Rediscovery Centre, which aimed not only to demonstrate best practice in resource management, but to embody that practice within a physical space - a ‘3D textbook’ to promote sustainable living.

DIRECT LIFE

Led by Rediscovery Centre which aimed to deliver a modern and robust digital campaign for the promotion of the Circular Economy.

ERASMUS+ Projects:

EaRTH Project

Supported by Rediscovery Centre, which was designed to support schools in Europe to face the Green Transition while promoting STEM subjects and active pedagogies.

REACT!

Supported by Rediscovery Centre, which aimed to provide useful tool-kits to young people through Youth Workers.

EU Funding Goals

Our strategic goals include policy advocacy and collaboration.

European projects provide an opportunity to develop the evidence base for policy advocacy in the area of the circular and social economy, in a collaborative partnership.

Our goal is to both lead and participate in European projects building on our experience to date.

Strengths

As the national centre for the circular economy we offer expertise in education, demonstration, policy advocacy, communication and citizen engagement in the circular economy.
