EU Project Experience
No experience
Rape Crisis Midwest is currently seeking to broaden their base of funding to include EU Project work.
This organisation is new to EU funding and will be supported by the Access Europe team.
EU Funding Goals
Rape Crisis Midwest is in the process of establishing a Training and Development Unit within our organisation. At the core of this unit will be a partnership approach at local, regional, national and ultimately European level. In addition, we wish to continue building continued pathways for enhanced community engagement, education and awareness.
Year 1 - our aim is to navigate through the various pathways of support within the EU Programme Mechanism gathering knowledge which will equip us with possible opportunities within the system.
Year 2- To build networks and learning experiences from other organisations who work in the Sexual Violence Sector to assist in informing the design and development of SV standards.
Year 3-5 - To collaborate and develop a training and educational partnership using collective resources.
Strenghts
Rape Crisis Midwest has a legacy of providing a range of innovative training and educational programmes.
We are proud members of RCNI, Rape Crisis Network Ireland which is an organisation charged with ensuring best practice, high governance standards, child protection and data protection.
