ICT MADPSSL is an active member of The Wheel – Ireland’s national association of charities, community groups, and social enterprises with 2000+ members. Director is a member of CEFEC Social Firms Europe and has led plenary panels at annual conference and delivered social entrepreneurship workshops.

Deliberate Self Harm: Positive Choices

Director led a local consortium of 5 partners in an ESF EQUAL project: “Progress GB” – a project addressing barriers to employment for migrants and refugees.

Director led a local partner on an Interreg IV project: “IMPRESS” – innovative and meaningful post recruitment employment support services.

Director set up a local partner in two Interreg projects (Channel and 2Seas); one around entrepreneurship for young people; the second around perinatal mental health.

Director also created in several other Grundtvig, Leonardo, Transversal and Erasmus Plus projects – he is an accomplished bid writer with a substantive track record.

EU Funding Goals

Make A Dream Project Support Services is classed as a "new" organisation. However, the director has been involved in EU funded projects since 2004. He has extensive networks across Europe and is now looking at creating and coordinating multiple projects and supporting those who are new to EU funded projects, turning ideas into reality.


Strengths

The director has 28 years' experience in mental health and a number of years in training development, particularly in community development, digital skills and entrepreneurship working with age groups 16+. He has also created the accredited training programme "Introduction to Mental Health For Young People" (age group 14+). He is a qualified ESOL teacher.
