EU Funding Goals
We are hoping to build our European network and maybe partner with other organisations to further advocating for better access to support for breastfeeding for anyone who needs it.
We would like to see if we can access funding to help train our volunteers and help to increase cross country communication and partnership with training.
We would also like to look at how we can support infant feeding in emergency situations across Europe and beyond.
Strengths
We are part of a larger International organisation and have expertise in breastfeeding and providing peer to peer support in community settings.
In Europe we have over 1,000 volunteer Leaders who are all trained peer supporters and provide evidence based information and support to mothers, babies and families.
We also have experience in providing online and in person training to health professionals and the general public.
In addition to providing support to mothers and parents, we have experience advocating for policies and practices that support breastfeeding.
We work with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the public to raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding and the importance of supporting families who choose to breastfeed.
