Gaisce - The President's Award

Gaisce is Ireland’s national youth award and is a personal development programme for young people aged 14-25. It's a direct challenge from the President of Ireland to all young people to fulfil their potential. There are three progressive Award Levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold. For each level, participants undertake Challenge Area activities that fulfil Personal Skill, Community Involvement, Physical Recreation and Adventure Journey. More than 250,000 young people have achieved a Gaisce Award.

Gaisce has experience with the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and has engaged as a partner on various ERASMUS+ projects such as youth worker mobilities with DofE Finland.
