This call aims to enable participating organisations to gain experience in international cooperation and to strengthen their capacities.
The objectives of Small-scale Partnerships are to attract and widen access for newcomers, less experienced organisations and small-scale actors to the Erasmus+ programme. These partnerships should act as a first step for organisations into cooperation at European level. They should also support the inclusion of target groups with fewer opportunities, support active European citizenship and bring the European dimension to the local level.
To be funded, small-scale Partnerships must address at least one of the following priorities:
Priorities applying to all Erasmus+ sectors:
Priorities in the field of youth:
Over the lifetime of a project, organisations may typically carry out a broad range of activities. Organisations have the flexibility to choose the best combination that contributes to reaching the project’s objectives in relation to its scope and in proportion to the capacities of the partnership. Activities can include:
Any public or private organisation in a Programme Country (see section "Eligible Countries" in Part A of the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
Project applicants must be a legal entity – no sole traders.
Minimum 2 organisations from 2 different Programme Countries (Note: Partner Countries and the UK are not eligible to participate in Small-scale Partnerships). There is no maximum number of participating organisations in one partnership.
The funding model consists of a menu of two possible lump sums, corresponding to the total grant amount for the project. Applicants will choose between the two pre-defined amounts according to the activities they want to undertake and the results they want to achieve. These lump sum amounts are €30,000 or €60,000. This applies to the whole partnership and the whole duration of the project.
Projects can last from 6 to 24 months.
