July 4, 2025

🚨 Welcome to the third episode of Access Europe’s #FundingFriday series! 🚨

Twice a month, we’ll be breaking down an EU funding programme, helping you to understand its objectives, who can apply, the application process, the National Contact Point and some examples of successful projects.

This week’s spotlight: The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), the EU’s key funding programme for asylum, migration and integration.

Objectives:

AMIF aims to further boost national capacities and improve procedures for migration management, as well as to enhance solidarity and responsibility sharing between Member States.

AMIF aims to:

  • Strengthen and develop all aspects of the common European asylum system.
  • Support legal migration to the Member States, including by contributing to the integration of third-country nationals.
  • Enhance solidarity and responsibility sharing between the Member States, in particular towards those most affected by migration and asylum challenges.
  • Contribute to countering irregular migration and ensuring effectiveness of return and readmission in third countries
