NEWS: Applications Open for the New Erasmus+ Programme

March 31, 2021

The new Erasmus+ programme guide for 2021-2027 is finally here! With a variety of exciting funding opportunities for civil society organisations, it’s time to start thinking about how Erasmus+ can work for you and your beneficiaries.

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Any public or private body active in these fields can apply for funding to deliver projects that address the programme’s objectives and priorities.

The priorities for 2021-2027 are as follows:

  • Inclusion and diversity
  • Digital transformation
  • Environment and the fight against climate change
  • Participation in democratic life.

This year, in order to make the programme more accessible to newcomers, Erasmus+ has introduced a small-scale partnerships option for projects with a shorter duration and simplified administrative requirements. For full details on the different types of projects and activities supported, check out the programme guide here.
